The Inbox Zero idea - what do I get out of it?
For a few months my inbox has shown around zero unread messages. Less clutter, better time management, less stress and clear priorities.
For a few months now my inbox has shown a number of unread messages close to 0.
What do I get out of it?
- Order in the digital world - less mess on the virtual desk,
- Better time management: - it is not about the inbox always being empty, but about managing time and tasks consciously,
- No putting things off - I act — reply, archive or delete,
- Understanding priorities: - I know what really needs attention and what can be ignored or handled later,
- Less stress: - order in the inbox helps me cut the stress of constantly checking email and wondering how many topics are still left to close. It lets me focus on what really matters.
In practice, Inbox Zero brought order to my inbox. I deleted hundreds of emails that were hiding the important messages. Now I easily find what really matters.
