Privacy policy
This site is a blog — it collects no personal data through forms.
In force since: 20 August 2026
1. Controller
The controller of the przemyslaw.wilde.pl site is Przemysław Wilde (Jastrzębie-Zdrój, Silesia, Poland). Professional matters (services, contact, quotes) I run under a separate brand, TECH.WILDE — that is also where the contact form and the contact details are: tech.wilde.pl/kontakt.
2. What data does this site collect?
The przemyslaw.wilde.pl site is informational (a blog). It has no contact forms and no other mechanism for collecting personal data. There are no accounts, there is no newsletter, and no data entered on this site is processed in any way.
3. Contact and your data
If you contact me through the TECH.WILDE site or through social channels, your data is processed by the operators of those services under their own privacy policies (including the TECH.WILDE policy).
4. Analytics and hosting
The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics — a visit counter that works without cookies and without a lasting identifier for your device. I do not profile traffic and I do not follow individual users between visits or between pages — I only see aggregate numbers: how many people and how many page views a day, which pages are popular, where the traffic comes from. The IP address is processed for a moment to estimate whether a visit is unique, and it is not stored anywhere. Details: cloudflare.com/web-analytics.
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. As the hosting and CDN provider, Cloudflare processes technical request data (including the IP address) in order to deliver the site and keep it secure (protection against attacks) — under its own privacy policy: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
5. Browser storage (localStorage)
The site stores one thing locally in your browser: your theme choice (light / dark), so that the preference is there on your next visit. This is not personal data and it is not passed to anyone.
The second such entry belongs to Piorunek — the guide in the corner of the screen — and it appears only after you explicitly agree. On your first visit Piorunek asks whether it should stay, and until you answer it stores nothing. A refusal stores the refusal alone, after which Piorunek switches itself off.
Once you agree, it remembers locally: whether you muted it, which hints it has already shown, how many times you have been here, and counters for the sections you visit (smart home, energy, AI, tools) — so that it does not repeat itself and can match what interests you. It does not store the addresses of the pages you open, it does not create a user identifier and it does not link those counters to any data about you. Everything stays in your browser — Piorunek sends no network requests and nobody but you sees any of it.
You can withdraw consent at any time: the Piorunek panel has a button that erases its memory (it clears everything except the decision itself), and under the question about data collection there is an option that shuts Piorunek down for good. Clearing the site data in your browser settings does the same. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of what happened before.
6. Your rights (GDPR)
You have the right to:
- access your data,
- have your data corrected,
- have your data erased (the “right to be forgotten”),
- restrict the processing,
- data portability,
- object to the processing.
For anything concerning your data, get in touch through the form on the TECH.WILDE site.
7. Cookies
The site uses no marketing or tracking cookies. Details in the Cookie policy.
8. English version of this site
The English version of this site (addresses starting with /en/) is translated automatically from the Polish originals using AI. Translations go live without a human reading them. The Polish version is the original — every English page carries a notice saying so, and posts link back to their Polish source.
This document may be updated. The current version is always available on this page.
